Truly 1 of the most crazy....intense match I have ever had.....Ian is a very skilled 6the race is to 5 games to win the match....We were pretty even for the first 4 games....then...tied at 2 to 2....the 8 ball and i believe the 3 ball got together deep in the pocket....i was shooting the 8 ball but there was simply no room to hit it without fouling....so instead of fouling...I pick up the cueball and handed it to Ian....He without a shot as well...handed the cueball back to me...it was at this point Scott one of the Central Colorado APA League operators....declared a stalemate.... I been playing APA 23 years and never seen...or heard about a stalemate....Its a rule that if neither player can make out a legal hit its a stalemate....what it boils down to is the game is replayed...started over...crazy well our match lasted a long time...I am not going to tell you the outcomebut I did the best I could....I have to add this footnoteWe were playing in the APA 2025 Fall Tri Cup where either Divisional or Divisional Playoff Champions (28 teams) 28 teams battle it out....only top 8 teams Advance to 2026 World Cup Championshipafter 3 matches today in the Finals we were down 2 matches to 1Our skill level 4 Drea was losing to a skill level 4 with her opponent only needed 1 game to Drea needing 3 games...well....Drea did it...came back....so now....we are in sudden death...Our skill level 3 Sandra had to win the first game or we were out....She played like a champwe Advance to the World Cup which is the ONLY pathway to APA Nationalsthanks to our team for playing so well
