Make sure none of the balls are tied together. The aim of this drill is to learn to control the cue ball by using the cue ball's natural path after contacting an object ball, as well as to learn to plan several shots ahead.Start with Ball In Hand. For this drill, you must keep the cue ball on one half of the table. You may not use side-spin, but you may use draw or follow. You may plau balls into the corner pockets on the opposite side of the table, but the cue ball must always stay on one half of the table. You will play the balls in rotation, but you must call each pocket before starting. By calling each shot, you will have a plan for how you will run out the table. If you can consistently make 6 runouts out of 10, then a recommended follow-up drill is Drill #21: http://poolpracticetracker.com/home/drills/drill_details.php?drill_id=21Demonstration of drill #21: https://youtu.be/XECAKqZRZZkMake sure your log your score after completing each runout over at http://PoolPracticeTracker.comMy equipment (as of Jan. 23, 2024):Playing gear:Playing Cue: Cuetec Cynergy SVB, Gen One Dakota Edition https://amzn.to/3S653yYBreak Cue: RAGE Heavy Hitter Jump Break Cue, 25oz https://amzn.to/423Qu3HChalk: Predator Cue Chalk https://amzn.to/3OcMCr4Chalk: Master Chalk https://amzn.to/48ynumZBridge: Black Plastic Slip-On Moosehead Bridge Head https://amzn.to/3OgyihpTemplate Racks: Outsville Accu-Rack Template Set https://amzn.to/3OdTJQiCue Holder: Q Claw 3 Cue Holder https://amzn.to/3SsgoLiBalls: Aramith 2-1/4" Crown Standard Balls https://amzn.to/48Z8SwMDot Cue Ball: Aramith 2-1/4" Super Pro Cup Cue Ball https://amzn.to/3U2qXpwTable gear:Dots for placing balls: Avery Adhesive Polyvinyl Hole Reinforcements https://amzn.to/3SqUcRrTable Cloth: Simonis 860 in Tournament Blue https://amzn.to/4b8zWLORail Cushions: Diamond Billiards Cushions https://www.pooltablefeltcloth.com/cushions-supplies/diamond-billiard-k55-profile.htmlRail Facings: 3/8" High Quality Neoprene Facings https://www.pooltablefeltcloth.com/cushions-supplies/facings/product/neoprene-50-durometer-hardness-die-cut.htmlVideo/Live streaming gear:Camera: GoPro Hero 8 Black https://amzn.to/4b58tL8Media Mod for GoPro Hero 8 https://amzn.to/425WY21Overhead Camera: Insta360 One RS https://amzn.to/3HxAgX3Microphone: Kinglucky Wireless Lavalier https://amzn.to/3U8Hubq4k Video Capture Card https://amzn.to/3Ht8VoHIf you find this video helpful, make sure to give it a LIKE!
