This is a drill I recently learned from a professional pool player. Object of the drill is to make each of the ten balls while progressively drawing the cue ball further back with each shot. Cue ball is positioned at the first diamond from the side pocket on every shot.Shot 1: Stop shotShot 2: Stun back no further than one diamond from the side pocketShot 3: Draw back between the first and second diamond from the side pocketShot 4: Draw back between the second and third diamondShot 5: Draw back between the third diamond and short rail without touching the short railShot 6: Draw back so the cue ball bounces off the short rail and stays between the rail and one diamond from the corner pocketShot 7: Draw back so the cue ball bounces off the short rail and stops between the first and second diamonds from the short railShot 8: Draw back so the cue ball bounces off the short rail and stops between the second and third diamonds from the short railShot 9: Draw back so the cue ball bounces off the short rail and stops between the third diamond and side pocketShot 10: Draw back so the cue ball bounces off the short rail and stops between the side pocket and the first diamond from the side pocket
