The Southern Pool World in the 80s and 90s
John Disque
Here's a rare pool player vlog and John Disque talking about some of his experiences in what many consider pool's heyday for road grinders, hustlers and bar-players.The days before the internet, the days when true American freedom was still a viable dream, the days when you could just grab your cue, head-out on the road and see where it would take you.Looking back is not something I do often. I prefer to look ahead, but lately, for whatever reason, people have been talking about my books and asking who I am and where I've been. This video is like a brief outline and small glimpse to answer some of your questions. I'll be back to making instructional videos very soon.
