Pool Practice Drill #26 | Black Ball Drill, a Level | PoolPracticeTracker
Pool Practice Drill #26 is the Black Ball drill for Level A and above players. This drill somewhat mimics making a long break in Snooker, where the black ball is pocketed in succession with several red balls. For this drill, we’ll use the 8 ball to stand in as the black ball.Use the table diagram to place the balls on the table: Click this link to get the table diagram for this drill. http://poolpracticetracker.com/home/drills/drill_details.php?drill_id=26For this drill you will play the 8 ball first, and then again after each object ball. Play the 8 ball in either corner pocket and then re-place the 8 ball on its spot. Then play any of the object balls on the table, but make sure to leave the cue ball in a spot where you can make the 8 ball again. Repeat this until you have made all four object balls and finish with the 8 ball.You may use the rails however you need to and bank shots are allowed. Also, you can play any ball into any pocket. However, the cue ball is not allowed to touch any of the balls on the table except the one you are playing.A passing score for this drill is making all eight object balls and finishing on the 8 ball.
